The 7 Steps to Perfect Employees

We work using a tried and tested recruitment process to ensure that we achieve the best possible results:

Discover

Working very closely with our clients we use every possible bit of information gleaned from paperwork and face-to-face discussions to discover what you are really looking for in the perfect candidate. This may be a straight forward discussion or it may actually turn up unexpected requirements. We use our depth of knowledge of the market to help support you through this process. This could mean helping write a job and person spec, developing a recruitment campaign and even help with interview questions.

We have a huge database of candidates which is always our first port of call. We also run advertising campaigns for you and can utilise our contacts to negotiate a good price. As a specialist recruiter we do sponsor a number of sector events which is a fantastic way of finding the right candidates. We are the sponsor for the London Fundraising Group First Thursday; we also sponsor a number of Institute of Fundraising events throughout the year. In addition we have ongoing campaigns online throughout the UK.

Interview

We think it is essential to see every candidate we put forward to you face-to-face first. We are experts at interviewing and finding out what candidates real motivations are. Only by meeting someone face to face can you truly get to know that person.

Deliver

We then deliver a shortlist of candidates to you with accompanying documentation tailored to your requirements, whether it be a supporting statement, CV or our own comments and brief. We also run through candidates with you either on the telephone or face-to-face and tell you why we think they are the perfect match for your post.

Brief & Inform

Candidates who are requested for interview will be fully briefed about the position, the charity and the full requirements of the interview before attending.

Communicate

Once an offer has been made our involvement does not stop there. This is often the most precarious time and we want to make sure this process is managed as smoothly and efficiently as possible. We actively guide our clients and candidates through the offer process, receipt of documentation and succesful uptake of references.

Follow Up

We will be in touch in the following months at regular interval to ensure the new member of staff has settled in well and be sure you are happy with our service.
